Your Story: Kristen Shares Her Wedding Story

As a woman, you know that from a very young age, we dream about our big day, we design our wedding dresses in our heads and we role-play the day with our friends as little kids.
Unfortunately, there’s this thing called “Life” and “Life” doesn’t always allow us to have our dreams made into a reality.
However, we do not let that stop us from saying our “I Do’s”.

Kristen shares her wedding story:fb_img_14755841903711. What was your wedding day like: Where did you get married? What did you wear? What did you do after the wedding; did you have a reception or did you just head on home?
The actual getting to say I do to my soul mate was amazing. We got married at St Marks chapel.
We didn’t have a lot of money so I never got to wear a breath taking dress I always wanted. I had to buy a cheap dress which my gran then added a train to make it look like a wedding dress. After our wedding we had a braai at home with just the family.

2. Did you have a honeymoon? If Yes, where did you go?
As a wedding gift we spent the night in a hotel.

3. If you could do everything over, would you?
I would do it over, I have always wanted to be able to do it over to have the special day I always wanted.

4. Do you envy those that did have the wedding of their dreams?
It is every woman dream to have a perfect glamorous wedding and unfortunately with life that’s not always possible, so I’m sure any woman who is not able to have that perfect day would be envious.

5. What do you think is the point behind having such a big and glamorous wedding?
To me your wedding day should be all about you and your partner becoming one.
It is something that only happens once between you and your partner so you only want the best.
